New Duds...

Believe it now that you see it! Stirling has her first pair of jeans;-) Although in my mind I always thought she would get them at age 10, I was wrong....I settled for two in a half. After much persuasion from Brad because of Stirling constantly wanting and talking about "pockets" - I caved.

And you can see the excitement! {wish I had a picture of daddy's face too!}

I have to admit they are so darn cute. The girl looks precious in anything. My thinking on wanting to hold off is that I can only dress her the way I want to for a short period in her life and well, jeans seem so "big girl." But every girl needs something they can play in the mud with, right!?

She just knows how cute she is! She has our hearts wrapped around her finger:-)

Quotes of the Day...

This morning after breakfast Stirling said, "Mama I ate all my egg...Awesome...high five!" {and she put her hand up!}

Not shortly after she asked, "Where's my little booger?!" She was wondering where Bradley was....I guess I need a better choice of words when I refer to her sister!

Two in a half -- funnest stage yet!

Stirling's OBESSION...

Is SERIOUSLY her cousin Wilson {and Nate too!} Everything ends with the question, "Wilson, Nae Nae?" She loves them so much she drives them kind of crazy. But hey, who can blame her because they are just precious. Molly and I dress like alike a ton and we always get questioned if they are twins. You would think so by their looks but also by the way they interact. They are just like brother and sister.

The other day I had them for a for a play date -- no kidding this photo shoot was NOT staged. It was so cute to watch them interact and I JUST had to whip the camera out because I want to remember these times forever!

Notice they both have princess cups!? You do for one and you have to do the SAME for the other!

Me & My Girls

Some days I just can't believe that God has blessed me with two precious, healthy girls. I also can't believe that in the short 11 weeks {can you believe it!?} that Bradley has been here how busy our household has become with 2 munchkins. Each new day is fun, challenging and exciting.... and I wouldn't change this time for the world - but boy is mama {and daddy} tired! Although, we are beginning to manage our way through the sleeping hurdle which I thought would never happen!

In the midst of our busy days with Bradley, sweet Stirling is now fully potty trained and it's fabulous to save some money on diapers! BUT you sure don't forget the convenience of having them in diapers - that's for sure! This past weekend she turned 2 1/2 which is crazy to me. My little "baby" is getting so "big girl" and is learning so much everyday. I know I've said this before but Brad and I are having the most fun seeing the world through her eyes. Sitting and having conversations with her is hilarious and we just start laughing because she says the cutest things. Other than being super duper sassy, she has the kindest heart which I pray will only stay this sweet for all of her life.

Anyhow, I thought {didn't even attempt} to get a sweet picture before church yesterday...we were lucky we made it out the door on time. So this picture will have to do. It's the only one I have with both the girls looking at the camera and me dressed!

Side Note - Oh and I promise Stirling's paci is going to "paci heaven" before she's 3! We're just taking one hurdle in stride at a time.

Happenings Round Here....

We have definitely been busy the past few weeks. I must say we are adjusting to life with two girls and can't imagine a single day without them. The past 10 weeks have been such a blessing -- and we can really think more clearly now that we are getting more sleep. Thank the Lord for that! Here are few things that have been occupying our time.....

Stirling enjoyed Aubie so much more this year at spirit day at school....

Her OBSESSION with daddy is at an ALL time high now that she can shave every night like him!

Coloring is a daily {sometimes hourly} activity...

We carved a pumpkin on Sunday {I know, way too early} and this is how Bradley contributed to the festivities...

Stirling wasn't TOO sure at first....

But as you can see it didn't take long to get into the action...

She just didn't want to touch the "Beans" as she called the seeds....

So proud....note we only carved the one of the left. The one on the right was a gift from a sweet cousin {last year} and when it is lit up it is a photo of Stirling's face!

This little cutie is 10 weeks old today and growing like a weed...

She's smiling and cooing and sleeping 6-7 hours at night!!! WHOOOO-HOOOOO!

She enjoyed her first play date today with
Holland Dilworth {3 weeks} and Sarah Atchley {5 weeks} (& Bradley {10 weeks})

The older munchkins were too busy for a photo opp!!!

That's about it....for now...
HAPPY FALL YA'LL!!!!!

I'll Put on my BIG GIRL panties....

Because.....I CAN!!!!

This little booger has been "accident free" since Saturday morning. {That includes naps and nighttime!} Although I know we WILL have plenty of those in the future. AND I'm afraid my worst fear is in full sight--- taking her to a public restroom!!! But hey, I'll save $20 a week! I was bound to only have one in diapers and well, now we do;-)

9 week stats

10.8 lbs {50th percentile}
23 inches {75th percentile}

Nights are better....have gotten a 7 hour stetch of sleep but averaging 5 hours.....
zombieness is a lifestyle right now but well, well worth it;-)

Daughter Like Mother....

"I pump MY boobies"

I caught her in the act when she was suppose to be washing her hands at the kitchen sink.
Instead she found my pump parts and well, decided to pump!

Notice her big girl panties -- more on that later;-)

Back from the Beach....

These {25 to be exact} photos {out of the 1 million I took!} pretty much sum up our trip....
{You can click on the photos to enlarge.}

We had a fabulous time and enjoyed beautiful weather. This was Stirling's 3rd "Wilson Family" beach trip {technically it's her 4th trip because this is where we told our family we were pregnant with her in Aug. 2006}. Her first time to the famous Latitude 29 {which is the best place ever if you have kids} was when she was 14 weeks old and then last year when she was 16 months. Both girls were ANGELS in the car {except for one "hairy" instance when Bradley was starving} and it couldn't have gone more smoothly with a 7/8 week old and 2 year old in tow! We're already looking forward to next year!!!
